Mixtails was born out of friendship, family, and a deep commitment to living well.
It all started on an ordinary afternoon when four friends — Annie, Jade, Ron, and Darren — gathered for a casual family hangout. Some of us were craving a refreshing cocktail, while others wanted to keep it clean with a mocktail. With our kids running around, we didn’t have time to play mixologist. So we thought, why not grab a ready-made mixer from the market and keep the fun rolling?
But that quick stop at the store changed everything.
We found shelf after shelf of mixers packed with chemicals, artificial flavors, and loaded with sugar. For Annie, a functional nutritionist and cancer survivor, it was a line she simply couldn’t cross. Serving that to our families and friends? Absolutely not.
So we went back home, gathered around the kitchen island, and started brainstorming.
What if there was a mixer that was truly clean — made with real lime, Himalayan sea salt, and free from sugar and junk? Something we’d feel great about sharing with our loved ones — and that tasted amazing in both cocktails and mocktails.
Over the next year, we experimented, taste-tested, and refined countless formulations. Our mission was simple yet ambitious: create a delicious, health-conscious, and sugar-free mixer that would become a staple in our homes (and hopefully yours).
We also made a conscious choice to go with a powdered format. Why? Bottles create more waste, are heavier to ship, and often have a bigger carbon footprint. With Mixtails, you get a product that’s eco-friendly, travel-friendly, and better for the planet — without sacrificing flavor or fun.
